Bricolage Dance UK makes interdisciplinary contemporary dance theatre combing narrative,  original music, and a range of movement styles,drawing on human emotions as a starting point. We like telling stories; we want our work to be characterful and readable rather than abstract and virtuosic for its own sake.

• To make high-quality performance work;

• To create intimate, small and medium works in unusual spaces including outdoor, site-specific and non-theatre spaces;

• To deliver high-quality community education work;

• To integrate our education work meaningfully into our performance work, with stories drawn from participatory programmes feeding into professional performance works and community performers working alongside professional artists in integrated performances.
